Just an idea

I'm just gonna throw this out here...

So many fans of the show have taken issue with Liz's not so bright decisions and actions but what if she's just a good actress??? Perhaps she is an undercover agent just like Tom. Perhaps she really does work for the Russians as Connolly asserted in the finale. Maybe we haven't met the real Liz. Maybe Red knows this about her and knows that makes her a target as well????
