Red is "Speed Racer"... and in a corn field, no less. With Red at the wheel, one would expect to end up in a more interesting location than a corn field. I'm just going to come clean...I didn't like this episode. It was a filler and it did not have enough oomph to keep me engaged. I'm growing bored with the "cat and mouse" routine with Ressler and Samar chasing Red and Liz. I like the usage of the corn industry. Corn is the undisputed ruler of the farming industry. Companies like Monsanto have cornered the market on genetically engineered seeds and they do use intimidation/threats to bully farmers into using their seed. Tonight's episode highlighted a real threat and all of it could really happen. However, putting Red in the middle of it all just didn't seem to fit. It doesn't seem plausible that way to the directer was to be found in a corn field. It could have been the intention of the writers to put Red and Liz in a totally new environment...it just did not sit well with me. I found it a tad ridiculous that Tom was waiting for the phone to ring. Sweet but over the top. FAVORITE MOMENTS: *Tom and Ressler confrontation. *Vargus joins Dembe.

*Some of the interesting expressions of joy on Lizzie's face while watching Red do what he does best. Lizzie being thrilled she discovered the air vent before Red noticed it. *Cooper telling Ressler to stick with what he does best ( basically running in circles ) in order to get him out of the way so he could get closer to the truth. * Agent Tom Keen. A possible theory I've had since season 1.

I love my Blacklist and I'm a loyal fan...even if it's not my favorite episode!

Oh, just how did Cooper know Tom was pining for Liz's phone call in a Chinese restaurant? We may never know.
